Auditions for The Sing Off Season 2 will be started in the month of May and set to take place in four cities of U.S. such as New York City (May 22), Nashville (May 29), Chicago (May 31) And Los Angeles (June 5).

Casting calls for second season of "The sing-off" are announced by NBC. NBC is ready to begin the search for the next set of groups to participate in the second season of The Sing-Off. In the month of May, Auditions for the second season of the cappella competition are set to start up. In New York City (May 22), Nashville (May 29), Chicago (May 31) And Los Angeles (June 5), audition for the second season of The Sing-Off will set to take place. Renewed vocal-competition series “The Sing-Off” of NBC will be traveling to four U.S. cities in search of the most talented a cappella singing groups to compete for a chance at a Sony Music recording contract in the month of May.

In December last year, “The Sing-Off” originally debuted as a four-night event. With a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.89 million viewers, “The Sing-Off” began. Multi-platinum recording artist, Nick Lachey hosted “The Sing-Off”. With a live finale, the one-of-a-kind battle of voices culminated and media magnet judges Shawn Stockman, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ben Folds will carry on to critique the singing groups with their expertise.

The country’s top a cappella groups are featured in the show and cappella groups will perform popular songs in a style that have never heard before by viewers. The winner group will get the ultimate prize, a Sony Music recording contract and $100,000. Nota has won the Last season of “The Sing-Off”, signed an exclusive recording agreement with Sony Music US Latin and now it is working on their new album for Sony.

For participating in the audition for “The Sing-Off”, group must consist of four to twelve members that can be made up of any combination of males and females. Groups should prepare three vocal performances and each no longer than three minutes. Group might not perform all songs but be prepared. Two pieces must be recognizable pop or rock cover songs. Medleys are allowed but must be no longer than three minutes. Any musical styles are accepted. Choreography, creativity, and dress are encouraged to enhance group’s performance. No instruments of any kind are allowed. At open call audition, microphones will be provided. Each group member needs to fill out an audition application. Each member must bring a copy of valid ID (driver’s license, passport etc.) to audition.
