Biography of Sonakshi Sinha:

Sonakshi Sinha was born on 2nd June, 1987 at Mumbai. Her father, Shatrughan Sinha is former actor and currently politician. Poonam Sinha is mother of Sonakshi who runs Shotgun Movies, a production house. Sonakshi has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha. Reportedly, last year Sonakshi has lost 30 kgs to walk on the ramp as a professional model. Sonakshi studied Fashion Designing course from SNDT.

Career:

As a model, Sinha began her career and walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion week in 2008 and after that again she walked the ramp in Lakme Fashion week 2009. Sonakshi also designed the costumes for her mother’s first produced movie Mera Dil Leke Deko (2005) which starred Koel Purie. Fortuitously, she has begun journey in Bollywood. At the present, she started shooting for her first movie Dabangg against Salman Khan which will be directed by Anurag Kashyap’s brother Abhinav Kashyap. Currently, the movie is on hold.

According to reports, the movie ‘Dabangg’ required a beautiful girl with a strong personality. The makers were skeptical about the leading lady; whether it should be a reputable actress or a fresh face. Lastly, Sonakshi was approached as her pairing with Salman appeared great and she accepted this movie project.
