Sowmi Akka is the oldest Grand mother of India. Normally, it is believed that the life period of Indian women is approximately 60 to 65 years but this belief is shown false by Sowmi Akka. One hundred twenty years old, Sowmi Akka, has two hundred fifty family members. She consumes healthy diet and says that it is the fact behind her longevity and makes her self-sufficient. This super granny is completely self-sufficient even at this age as she performs every type of domestic work such as cooking, cleaning, and purchasing foodstuff & the homely requirements from the market.
Sowmi Akka said to reporters that she doesn't face any health troubles till now and it is only due to her diet pattern with healthy food. She said that she consumes everything which is healthy and gives her strength and health. As per her grand daughter, Amarawathy, she gave birth to ten children and her eldest daughter is 95 years old. They all live happily and participate in all major family functions and reunions to meet her and celebrate her longevity.
