Suzuki launched new 3rd generation Suzuki Swift 2011 in UK at the Autumn of 2010 with all-new lighter, longer and more spacious. So, the new Suzuki Swift 2011 is ready for selling in UK at approximately cost of £ 10,000 to £ 13,300. The new car appears in four different trims levels such as SZ2, SZ3, SZ4 and SZ5. The new Swift is larger than the existing Swift car. Swift 2011 has 90mm longer and an extra 50mm in the wheelbase.

The latest model of the Suzuki Swift is obtainable with two engines option: a new 1.2-liter petrol that makes 94HP and 118Nm / 87 lb-ft of peak torque and a modified 1.3-liter turbo diesel with 75HP and 190Nm / 140 lb-ft.

The trims levels of new car including SZ2, SZ3, SZ4 feature a five speed manual transmission while SZ5 features an automatic transmission with seven airbags and electronic stability program (ESP) for high safety standards. At Euro NCAP, which is Europeans standard to rate the cars for safety, new Suzuki Swift have already been rated 5 starts. The SZ2 has seven airbags and ESP, front passenger deactivation facility for airbag, electric front windows, remote central locking, MP3/WMA CD tuner with USB port and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. SZ3 has manual air conditioning and 16-inch alloy wheels and SZ4 has automatic air conditioning, Bluetooth integrated audio unit, electric rear windows, push-button keyless start, automatic headlamps and cruise control as standard.

The Swift 2011's engine has a new 1.2-litre petrol engine to replace the outgoing 1.3-litre unit which emits 109g/km. The Dual VVT (Variable intake and exhaust valve timing) unit produces 92bhp and 87lb ft, both figures slightly improved more than 1.3 unit. The car has a standard and an automatic optional manual gearbox. It has combined fuel consumption of 67.3mpg, an upgrading on highly credible 62.8mpg from the outgoing Suzuki Swift DDiS. Its’ torque is also improved to 118Nm at 4,800rpm.

To produce the new bodyshell lighter and stiffer than before as well as offering refinement in underbody design, higher strength steel has used. The design of the latest body has also improved impact safety for pedestrians with occupants. Now, the interior design has a more dynamic which featuring black as its keynote color with accents of silver throughout the car.
