A Team member of BHP has arranged to snag a bunch of images of the yet to be launched Suzuki SlingShot 125 Motorcycle from a Suzuki Dealership in Mumbai which looks like Zeus 125. There is no official announcement about the price of Suzuki SlingShot 125 but projected to be priced around 55000-60000 rupees. SlingShot 125 looks very plain jane and simple in comparison to other bikes available in this segment such as recently launched Pulsar 135. Engine of Suzuki SlingShot 125 looks as straight lift off from the Zeus further giving credibility that this is a 125cc motorcycle that Suzuki has been planning to launch in sometime.

The Suzuki Zeus could not make it because of the new release standards so Suzuki decided to rearrange the engine to comply with Bharat Stage III release norms. In place of fixing the engine in the Zeus, the company has decided to launch a new 125cc bike named as the Sling Shot. The bike has digital instrumentation, front disc brakes with 5 gears. SlingShot 125 has maximum power 8.5 bhp @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque is 10 nm @ 3500 rpm.
