well, i can clearly understand why most of the rajini's fans dont like the movie.... this is because there were no punch dialogues, kuttu pattu, intro song like in other previous movies.. an actor has to be versatile, cant expect him to act in the same style in all movies.......besides, a lot of punch dialogues can be rather annoying. In this movie, rajini had portrayed a different style of acting and he was so simple
( Dr.vasigaran)........he showed he can b simple, romantic, good, charming, and bad.......besides, the mosquito scene was obviously just for comedy and fun...........why have to make it a big issue....if u all can accept some scenes , for example one guy beats up a lot of guys, why cant accept the mosquito scene.......... a lot of people have put their efforts in this movie......instead of criticising, let's just appreciate the good work

Lots of expectations for this movie (created by the private channel). But the movie is not upto the mark. It would be better if they could skipped some of the silly scenes, example is Mosquito scene. Our tamil cinema is still carrying the age old formulas like goons teasing the girl, delivery scenes..

No logic in the film, a scientist is creating a SuperIntelligent Robot with the help of 2 wasteless assistants!!!!

Overall the movie is good one time watcher if we didn't go with much expectations.

Beyond all of our Good or Bad conclusions, Robo is earning money like anything... you cannot easily that the movie is not upto the expectation .. something like that... its massive hit!!!... unexpected exploration in theaters all around the world...... Rajini+Shankar+Kalanithi group has proved.....

I did't see anything wrong in this movie. It is really great. I really have to appreciate because i never seen indian movie such a wonderful technology in the movie. It is decent movie. most of the people used to watch rajini in style like flying cigarrate and fast diagloe delivery and background music like bhaasha. so that's why . we always watch english movie like this But we are not accepting if we do by our people. See we are degrading ourself before somebody could pointing us.

enthiran rocks to the core because it is the movie with high budget,exclellent perfection and the last but not the least its a sci fi movie in INDIA which is the first of its kind.

iam a grt fan of supr star but this film does not ful filled our expectation ,ok i understand u want rajni sir to b shown in different manner but we are not prepared to watch him like this but thanks for ur try but not again "'" the first disappointment is that after three years when we want to c our "supremo " with a very good intro song but u made it very simple and not reachable ...anyway mr shankar thanks for ur try amnd i appreciate many things u did in this movie are grt but again with rajni sir plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz no no no.

u have spent more money on this film telugu film mahesh khaleja is far better than dis movie............! we have seen dis type of film in kannada directed by upendra a film called hollywood.....} ash s gud looking in film but rajini is acted like a loffer and looks like a ghost & tamil saithan.... from dis film whole tamil industry s ashemed rajini ll look like a father for ash;;;

shankar sir.. i am your great fan.. i have watched all your movied right from gentle man till sivaji.. i like all your creation.. especially indian.. anniyan.. awesome.. but i am really disappointed with rbo sir... our audience have changed a lot.. we expect perfection.. robo is not like that.. VFX is not upto mark.. we have seen this kind of effects in old Hollywood movie like terminator.. your concept would have worked out ten years back.. but not now sir... I am sorry to say this sir..

Hey folks.. i went to endhiran with lot of expectation and eager.. but came out with a dull face.. Visual effects is not good.. thing look artificial like.. sound effect is not up to mark.. this movie cant stand in front of Hollywood block busters like terminator.. transformer..but songs location are excellent.. especially "kadhal anukkal" and "kilimanjaro".. obviously our thala acting is good he rocks... and Aish is looking beautiful...

Anyway its a mile stone to kollywood.. but miles to go.... I hope next time shankar comes out with a movie better than this in terms of vfx..

what type of movie that you want , cg overdosed , i accept, but rajni really performed well as a villian , as a robo, a.r.rahman is good ,aishwarya rai is perfect , but you are simply saying don't see this movie, please don't comment like this , rajni 's very good movie , really it is better than recent time movies. really entertaining than shivaji. climax is the only disturbing scenes, that's all , please dont say such a comment

After the giddy sucess of Sivaji, I went to watch a Rajini movie in Dallas (Texas) of all places. I even boasted to one of my "local" friends that thalaivar is stallone/arnold/chuck norris rolled into one. But after watching the movie I got a feeling of watching yet another hollywood movie in the US. The ambience was quiet, the hall was not overflowing, the movie was techincally awesome and entertaining all right. But somehow I was missing something important, a core person to the movie and that was rajini himself!!! yes folks, please watch this movie if you want to watch a technically superior movie that can be comparable to hollywood for many scenes/effects. However if you are looking for that thalaivar touch, you will be disappointed. Even Baba a supposed disaster had more thalaivar touches than Robot. In that aspect Sankar and Rajini have to be appreciated for their bold attempt. But anyway Sun Network Kalanidhi maran is backing them up and hence the movie has already recouped costs courtesy the massive publicity and unprecedented number or prints released. However as a hardcore Rajini fan, I will watch his Badshah or Alex Pandian or Sivaji(Boss) for 50th time rather than watch Robot for the 2nd time. And that in a nutshell sums up Robot.

Hi there the movie got all kind of ingredients like huge budget, Best actress, best Actor, Advertisements Etc.,but lags with story concept. With this kind of direction we can’t get into the world cinema.
As SUN PICTURES has the goal to enter world cinema they should choose good concept movie like Paramount movies, Walt Disney, 20th fox century Ect.,
There movies are really entertaining and has a good story with best concepts.

Movie is like a pogo channel program... clearly to say... lot of unrelated concept with the character definition... One of the big mistakes is... when chitty got is feelings his face reaction was the same like ROBOT same while when chitty become a Bad robot how come it shows all kind of human face reactions!!! Seems like for to entertain u designed like that???

Again why bad robot went out for charging them self while they have their own trucks inside there kootai when there is a full power cut.

Such a very intelligent robot cant even equipped with thermo sensor on them???

Hmmm funny part is while bad robot kidnapped heroin the police surrounded them and shooting without even considering of heroin in the car!!!

In Dasavatharam where Kamal is a scientist in the initial part of the movie they will show research center where they do research and test the samples. It shows really good concept to accept but in ROBO it’s like upside down he do all kind of research in a small lab and will take out the system (robot) out to home... how come its possible sir !!!

I have seen I-ROBO English movie its has the same story but really good characterisation like the good robot will blink one eye and will say it’s a human thing. that kind of movies have released long back and you are still telling the same story as we say to children’s

More over how did this movie been accepted worldwide !!!

You tried something with your little knowledge but it’s not enough sir to get into world cinema we should learn better concept then only we should involve in these kind of projects.

If i get chance like you I would have taken a good entertain movie that would have accepted worldwide.

In Scientist lab only 3 people working to make a robo ha ha ha that to ok but in Vellan side he is the only man working in the LAB wow...

I am a Rajini fan, but this film is a big disappointment. In my local theater I spent Rs-500 for the ticket where as the printed value on the ticket is Rs-25/-. I heared there are plenty Rajini fans spent more than me for the first day show. I could say that this film is a total disaster for Rajini fans. I was missing the feeling I got from other previous Rajini films. May be Shanker directed this film for Kids. Hmmm, kids also won't understand this film. I remembered many scenes from Terminator, Matrix, Mask, Hulk etc., while watching the graphics effects. Looks like a re-dubbed Hollywood movie.
