The 2011 Aria 4x2 version will be available in three orderly levels - Aria Prestige, Aria Pleasure and Aria Pure. This Aria model will offer advanced 2.2 litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) engine, with its changeable turbine technology and 32-bit ECU which delivers 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque in its 4x2 avatar. Tata Aria 4x2 is improving the mileage to 13.7kmpl compared to its precede version of Aria 4x4. The fuel efficiency of Tata Aria 4x2 is satisfactory with respect to the particular Indian roads.

There are other standard safety features such as Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Breakforce Distribution (EBD) which allows disc brakes on all four wheels that result in better control in emergency braking situations and on slippery surfaces.
