If you want to enter the sweepstakes then you have to visit Thisoldhouse.com/curbappeal and complete registration form including your personal information, and write in 200-word-or-less essay detailing why your home is most deserving of a Curb Appeal Makeover, and upload up to three photos of your front yard. Boost Your Curb Appeal Contest has been started on February 19, 2010 and it will end on April 22, 2010.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years or older at time of entry who are legal owners of the home that they have based their essay on; and who have all requisite and up-to-date home insurance policies in place. Timing: The This Old House and Cub Cadet Present The Boost Your Curb Appeal Contest begins 12:01 A.M. EST on FEBRUARY 19, 2010 and ends 11:59 P.M. EST on APRIL 22, 2010.

How to Enter Boost Your Curb Appeal Contest: To enter online, go to www.thisoldhouse.com/curbappeal and follow instructions.

Limit: Entries limited to one per person, for the duration of the contest.

Prizes:

One Grand Prize Winner will be selected to receive a Curb Appeal Makeover and a Prize Package of outdoor power equipment from Cub Cadet. The Makeover will be awarded in the form of a $1,500.00 credit to a local nursery/home store, with whom TOH will coordinate/contract to design an exterior makeover. This budget will include materials and labor. No cash equivalent will be given. Winner must agree to complete the project within 2 months of prize award, and further, must agree to have their home photographed for use within TOH Magazine and/or ThisOldHouse.com. (ARV: $1,500). Winner will also receive their choice of one of the following three prize packages (see below) courtesy of Cub Cadet, consisting of outdoor power equipment (ARV:$5,200). Maximum Combined ARV: $6,717.00 USD.
