Tim Burton is Director, producer, and screenwriter. Full name of Tim Burton is Timothy William Burton. On August 25, 1958, in Burbank, California Timothy William Burton was born. He is the son of Bill (mother) and Jean (father). Tim Burton has one brother named Daniel. A gift shop was run by Jean and Will Burton, a former baseball player worked for the Burbank Park and Recreation Department. Burton's childhood was described as quirky, self-absorbed and highly imaginative. Home life and school was founded difficult. Via watching horror films, he escaped the reality of everyday life.
Tim did have a passion for movies; in spite of Tim was a very meditative boy and very quiet. Tim Burton would go to the strange triple showings at his local Cinema with movies called "Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde" and "Destroy all Monsters", when he was an adolescent. Monster movies were venerated by him and he was never afraid of them.
In school, Burton’s satisfaction was in painting, drawing, and watching movies. After graduating from Burbank High School, Burton enrolled at the California Institute of Arts to develop a liking for drawing where he majored in animation. A scholarship was won by Tim in 1976 for the California Institute of the Arts which was founded by Walt Disney. Upon his graduation, as a learner animator for Walt Disney Studios, he started working in 1980. Within a year, Burton decided to strike out on his own because at Disney he grew weary with his work.
The award-winning "short Vincent" paid homage to the enduring work of Burton’s childhood idol which was released by him, in 1982. In filmmaking history, some of the most outstanding dark, strange and stimulating creative visions including Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and Sleepy Hollow have been created by Tim Burton. Short films would be made by him in his back yard using crude stop-motion animation techniques, or were shot on 8 mm film without sound.
The lavish production “Batman” was directed by Burton in 1989, after forming his own production company. Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton, and Kim Basinger were included in cast with whom the stylized feature became the first film to sell $100 million in the first 10 days of release. As the title character in Ed Wood—a black-and-white portrait of a middling filmmaker and his all-consuming passion to succeed, Johnny Depp was casted by Burton in 1994. However Martin Landau won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of a drug-addicted Bela Lugosi, the film failed to appeal to mass audiences.
