Toyota Prius, one of the most victorious cars, is well-known in worldwide market due to its excellent fuel economy ratings of 48/51 mpg highway/city. This Junior Prius comes with much of its predecessor’s distinguishing characteristics such as a space-efficient tailgate body style, triangular side glass at the rear, smaller grille openings and taillight pillars. It will maintain the structural design of Prius and the cabin will be featured with a center-mounted instrument board. The exterior styling of Prius C is the major factor which differ it from the rest of the Prius line up. Prius C has small size and more aggressive look than the others.

The clearest difference between the production example and the 2011 concept of Toyota Prius C is the selection of a more conservative headlamp placement on the model.

The Prius c will hit the market in spring of 2012 but there is no news on the pricing details of vehicle yet. There are strong indications that the price of Prius c will be competitively lower than the conventional Prius, possibly below $20,000. It will hit the Japan market in the late next month and it will be called in Japan as Aqua.
