Android phones are becoming utmost interest for all and the upcoming android phones of 2011 will have updated operating systems, faster download speeds, better cameras, etc. Upcoming android phones also include 1 GHz processor. Android versions include 2.0/2.1 (Eclair), 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3 (Gingerbread), 3.0 (Honeycomb) and Ice-cream sandwich which will be released in mid 2011. HTC Thunderbolt's release date is unknown but as per the Best Buy inventory, it will be released on 14 February. HTC ThunderBolt is a 4G LTE Android 2.2 smartphone with 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera and 1.3MP front facing camera with dual-LED flash. Thunderbolt has a large 4.3 inch touchscreen, high definition video recording, 8 gigs of internal storage capacity and Wi-Fi. With Thunderbolt you can integrate video Skype to any device without WiFi. The price of Thunderbolt will be around $249 with two-year new contracts, $329 with one-year new contracts and $599 off contract.

HTC Inspire 4G

HTC Inspire 4G is going to be released on 13th February. It is the 1st android phone available on AT&T which features 4G and also 2.2 Android operating system. HTC Inspire 4G features 4.3-inch super LCD display, a 1GHz processor, HD video recording, Dolby Mobile and SRS HD sound, a front-facing camera for video calls , 8MP camera with auto focus and LED flash. It also contains 4GB internal storage and 8GB microSD out of the box which is expandable upto 32GB. HTC Inspire 4G is preloaded with social networking services such as Facebook, and YouTube. The price of HTC Inspire 4G will be $100 with 2 year contract with AT&T.

Motorola Atrix 4G

Motorola Atrix 4G will be released on 6th March. Motorola Atrix 4G is dual-core processor smartphone that can be attached to laptop dock station and used as a regular pc. In AT&T lineup it is the 1st dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It will run on Google Android 2.2 and comes with 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 4" capacitive touchscreen, front-facing VGA camera, 16GB onboard memory and HDMI port. The price of Motorola Atrix 4G is $199.99 with 2 year contract and the price with Motorola Laptop Dock is $499.99. The Laptop Dock will also come with 2 year contract that includes a subscription to a Data Pro data plan and tethering add-on.

Motorola Droid X2

Motorola Droid X2 (Daytona) will release in March or at the end of February. It will be having the Android 2.2 Froyo OS and dual-core 1GHz Tegra processor (Nvidia). Droid X2 will feature 4.3 inch touch screen (540x 960 resolution), 8MP camera, 16GB of memory, microSD card slot, 720 p HD movie capturing facility, HDMI output, USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Adapters. The price of Motorola Droid X2 will be $200 with 2 year contract with Verizon.

Motorola Droid Bionic

Motorola Droid Bionic is expected to release in mid 2011. It is a CDMA smartphone which will feature Android 2.2 Froyo OS. It will come with 4.3-inch qHD display, a dual-core 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 1080p playback, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, HDMI-out with mirror mode, front-facing VGA camera, Wi-Fi, Adobe Flash Player and HTML5. It will also support 4G which is 10 times faster than 3G. The price of Motorola Droid Bionic is $149.99 as per Amazon.

LG Revolution

LG Revolution is expected to release in the first half of 2011. It is the 1st smartphone of LG which will work on 4 LTE network of Verizon. It will run on Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system. It features 4.3" capacitive touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 3D Graphics hardware accelerator, built-in 16 GB memory with microSD card slot expandable memory up to 32GB, a micro HDMI connector, 3.5mm Audio Jack, OTA synchronization and DLNA media sharing. The price of LG Revolution will be around $200 to $300 with a 2 year Verizon contract.

Samsung Infuse 4G

Samsung Infuse 4G will be released in second quarter of 2011. It will run on Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and has 1.2 GHz Hummingbird processor for fast application processing. Samsung Infuse 4G features super AMOLED plus 4.5" large display, 8 megapixel camera which is capable of recording in high definition, 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling, 3.5 mm jack for audio and card slot microSD. Samsung Infuse 4G will be the thinnest android phone on AT&T. The price of Samsung Infuse 4G is not announced yet.

Samsung's Portrait QWERTY Phone

To bring a portrait QWERTY Android phone this year both Samsung and Sprint are working jointly. Samsung determined to create a handset similar to BlackBerry which is rumored to work gingerbread version of Android. The release date and price information is not yet available. The phone may feature 8 megapixel camera and 1GHz processor.
