Like other cricket events, Asia Cup is one of the most awaited matches among the fans. It is among highly popular events in Asian Subcontinent. 2014 Asia cup will be held in Bangladesh during February 24 to March 07, 2014. 2012 Asia cup winner Pakistan is gearing up match, while India will join after New Zealand tour. If you talk about the captaincy then Sri Lanka will be presented under the new young Angelo Matthews whereas no major chances in captains of other participating nations. Earlier it was said that India won’t be able to play due to schedule problems, but after revising the dates of the matches they will be playing too. The participating teams include Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka with 50-over one-day tournament.
India in New Zealand:
Indian team is ready to play in their best form. Don’t expect the Black Caps New Zealand to be a weak team. They are always ready to turn pitches on their sides. The Black Caps includes super young talented players like Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Neil Wagner, but on the other hand you can’t ignore the talented young batsmen like Kohli, Dhawan, Vijay, Rahane, Pujara, and Sharma. The first match of the tour will be held on January 19, 2014 and it will end on February 18, 2014. And the bilateral series is a part of Future Cricket Tour Programs (FTP). The first match will begin on January 19, 2014 at McLean Park, Napier.
Twenty20 is scheduled from March 16 to April 6, 2014 in Bangladesh. The event's beginning will be held at gala event in Dhaka. Total sixteen teams will take part. The total over is 20. It is the only match after IPL in which players will play for twenty overs. And due to very limited overs, players mainly focus on fours and sixes that's why people love it most. The last Twenty20 was held in Sri-Lanka. Total 35 matches will be played in this event, and with that there will be a qualifying round and a super 10 round.
South Africa vs. Australia:
South Africa is one of the best cricket teams, but you can’t also deny the capability of Australian players. Australia’s tour will be hosted by South Africa. If you just look at the record, then you will come to know that since 1969-70, SA hasn’t won a home series against them. The first match between these amazing teams will begin from February 12, 2014 and last match will be held on March 14, 2014. These matches are the part of Future Tour Program. Now here you can’t take any of these teams lightly.
Indian Premier League 7:
IPL is one of the most famous formats of cricket. This is very unique format, in which different players from different countries play for a particular team. Unlike its sixth season where there were some cases of corruption, this year all the measures are taken to make this season as the corruption-free season. Now in 2014 IPL season, you will see many other changes in selecting the players, one such rule is where they allow the teams to retain their players for five years. India vs England:

India tour of Bangladesh:
This tour is also a part of Future Tour Programs and it will begin on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Bangladesh. Total three ODI matches are likely to play in Bangladesh. Like other matches, it will be one of the interesting matches. Hope for a great bilateral series.
England tour of West Indies:
The world’s two great teams will face each other from February 28, 2014 for bilateral series, which is a part of Future Tour Programs. The series will come to end on March 13, 2014. The tour includes 3 ODI and 3 Twenty20 matches. Fans can aspect fantastic matches at Antigua and Barbados - the two favorite islands of most cricket fans!
Sri Lanka tour of England:
The international bilateral series will begin from May 20, 2014 in England. In this tour, total 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20 match will be played. The bilateral series will end on Jun 24, 2014. It will be really exciting to see two great teams playing.

2014 will be a mixed year for cricketers. There are many chances of comebacks and retirement news.
