With the help of Cigna behavioral Health Providers Directory, you can find a Therapist/Psychiatrist. You can find a therapist or a psychiatrist, who suits you. It may take up to 10 business days to be seen by a therapist. If you require more urgent help then you can call the toll free number, which is situated at the back of your ID card. If you want to see which therapists, psychiatrists, or hospitals are in your network, you have to login, the option of “login” is situated at the left-hand side of the “Providers Directory” page to make sure your benefits cover your sessions.
Find a therapist:
You have to fill the form by entering provider type such as Therapist/Psychiatrist and Hospital/Behavioral Program, network like Behavioral Health and EAP, zip code, zip radius, select the language, age range specialty, gender, topical specialty, Ethnicity, enter the answer of Are you accessing your EAP benefits? Then click on “search” button. On the other hand, you can search of a specific provider, hospital, or behavioral program by clicking on "Search by Name," which is situated at the left-hand side of the “Providers Directory” page.
Pre-authorization is needed for Hospital Care and other Specialty Services. You have to call the number, which is stated at the back of your ID card. Authorization is needed for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counseling. These services are available at no cost for limited sessions. You have to go for log in to see if you are eligible and obtain authorization online or call the number stated at the back of your ID card. You do not need an authorization for most visits to a therapist or psychiatrist in your network for routine, outpatient care.
