Vampire Diaries Season 2 is set to premiere on 9 September 2010 on CW Television series. After a long wait of Vampire Diaries fans, Vampire Diaries Season 2 is coming and some teasers for the next season have been already released by CW. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 2 is about the two vampire brothers, who obsessed with the same beautiful girl, and fighting to control the destiny of an entire town. The Vampire Diaries follows the traditional themes and love-triangle plots we encounter in its competing films and series, Vampire Diaries offers a better-written, better-acted and more interesting experience. In “The Vampire Diaries" Season 1, viewers have seen 17-year old Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and her 15-year-old brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), live with their Aunt Jenna. Elena and her friends become fixated by a mysterious new student, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, “Fallen”) at Mystic Falls High.

Anna gets staked and her emo boyfriend Jeremy (Elena’s bro) takes her blood and commits suicide with the goal of turning into a vampire himself. Stefan and Damon Salvatore, vampire brothers (one good, one evil) returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for different reasons. Stefan was resolute to know Elena Gilbert, bearing a striking similarity to Katherine Pierce, the gorgeous but ruthless, vampire the brothers knew and loved in 1864, while Damon was intent on releasing Katherine from the tomb where he supposed she was trapped by a witch's spell all those years ago.
