The world's most popular car cruise, Woodward Dream Cruise 2010 has been started in the beautiful city of Detroit. In the United States, the Woodward Dream Cruise is one of the biggest showcases of muscle cars. About 1.5 million people with more than 40,000 are taking place in this event through eight cities.

This event is a classic car event held annually on the 3rd Saturday of August on Woodward Avenue just north of Detroit in Michigan, USA. "Woodward Dream Cruise" is a registered trademark of Woodward Dream Cruise, Inc. According to the official Woodward Dream Cruise website, in August 1995, Nelson House and a group of volunteers looked to relive and recreate the nostalgic heydays of the 50s and 60s, when youth, music and Motor City steel roamed Woodward Avenue, America’s first highway. In that year, 250,000 people participated—nearly ten times the number estimated.

Along the Dream Cruise route, other cities like Berkley, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pontiac and Royal Oak are also included in this event The 16th WDC Event starts from Pontiac to Ferndale in Oakland County, Michigan, including State Fair Grounds inside the Detroit city limits, which is just south of 8 Mile Road. Concerts, dances, parades, classic car shows, events for kids and an official ribbon-cutting are also included in it. Guests are invited to stand or sit along Woodward Avenue and enjoy family, friends and classic cars.

• All Day: Official Woodward Dream Cruise merchandise booths on Woodward staffed by Berkley community service organizations.
• 10 a.m.-8 p.m.: 16th Ferndale Classics & Cruis'n Legends Vehicle Show and 12th Mustang Alley Show on east and west Nine Mile Road.
• 10 a.m.-9 p.m.: Ferndale's Rock'n Live Entertainment & Festival, featuring live classic rock 'n' roll, Cruiz'n Food Court, Kids Play Zone and more, entertainment as follows:

Stage East

• Noon: Paisley Fogg
• 2:30 p.m.: Rock Bottom Band
• 5 p.m.: Clear Avenue Band

Stage West

• 11 a.m.: King Drifter
• 1:30 p.m.: Legend, the Band
• 4 p.m.: The Groove Band
• 7 p.m.: Topper most, a Beatles Tribute Band

August 27th through 29th, 2010 Friday - Sunday:

• Belleville: Cruzin’ the Park Swap Meet and Car Show

2010 Woodward Dream Cruise will cover by the three fronts:
