Southern Railway Online Booking & Ticket Reservation:

For online reservation, go on this website www.southernrailway.gov.in/online reservation. You will find login section at top-left corner, if you are a new user, then below is given sign-up process. Click on it and enter your information. There is given plan my travel, enter from and to, (enter city name), date, class, and then select, i-ticket or e-ticket, and click on Find trains option. And then follow the instructions.

You can also get more details as there is a user profile, and you can update your profile, change password. Master list of passengers can also be created. You can make a master list of all passengers who are likely to travel on the tickets booked by you so that while booking tickets you can easily enter data from this list. As per Railway rules, a maximum of only 6 names can be included in any one Passenger Travel List for a specific journey.

Passenger Travel List is for convenience of easy inputting of Passenger particulars during booking of tickets. You can create/modify different combinations of Travel Lists of Passengers for different tickets/journeys from your Master List of Passengers.
