ZTE’s first Windows Phone, the ZTE Tania has been recently announced, and displaying at the PT/EXPOT COMM China 2011 in Beijing. This device is featured with the innovative mobile operating system flavor from Microsoft, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. This handset runs on a 1 GHz application processor together with 3D acceleration, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. It is featured with a 4.3-inch thin film transistor (TFT) touchscreen display with WVGA resolution of 800 × 480 pixels and offers multi-touch support. It also contains 5-megapixel auto-focus rear Camera, with LED Flash, support for video recording, and camera resolution is 3264 × 2448 pixels.

ZTE Tania will come with UMTS/HSPA + 900/2100MHz bands, and with a built-in GPS receiver, with A- GPS, as well as with Wi-Fi connectivity capabilities. It also contains a 512MB cache, 4GB of flash memory, and A-GPS. It also contains bluetooth v2.1 with EDR stereo, Office HUB, micro USB v2.0, Game HUB etc. ZTE Tania also contains proximity sensor, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and ambient light sensor. This handset contains 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery. It will be launched later this year in a number of European countries.

ZTE Tania seems modish with a sleek, light grey finish. Users can easily connect and share with their friends, family and colleagues with this windows phone because it contains a unique user interface that uses Live Tiles to make it easy. The operating system provides a quick, vivid web experience with the use of Internet Explorer 9 and hardware acceleration. It also joins apps to search and make them easier to discover and utilize.
