U-Haul International, Inc. is basically a North American equipment rental company which is situated in Phoenix, Arizona. Leonard Shoen (L. S. "Sam" Shoen) is the founder of the company. This company was started in garage of his wife's family and stretched through franchising with gas stations. Since 1945, U-Haul has been provided services to its customers. Two levels of coverage i.e. Safemove and Super Safemove are offered by U-Haul for truck rental customers. This coverage protects you from financial responsibility for any damages to the equipment. Credit cards and car insurance do not typically cover rental equipment of customers so damage coverage is necessary. One can buy rental protection as per their will. Customer rental protection can be done anytime at the dispatch location.
When customers pick up the equipment, they can add Safemove or Super Safemove ® coverage by going to U-Haul location that rented their equipment and added to their contract. Safemove has three components; damage waiver, cargo coverage and medical-life coverage while Super Safemove coverage has four components; damage waiver, cargo coverage, medical-life coverage and one million dollars in liability coverage.
