Www.uoftbookstore.com is the official website of University of Toronto Bookstore, which was started in 1897 at the St. George Campus, Downtown Toronto. At present, The Bookstore has locations at U of T Mississauga, U of T Scarborough and computer stores at each campus, plus a Varsity Sports Store and two convenience stores, called Campus Xpress. The University of Toronto Bookstore is a partition of the University of Toronto Press.

The University of Toronto Bookstore is positioning itself to better serve students by launching a cell phone and wireless store last fall, a pilot rental textbook program a few weeks ago, and now with the announcement of the Espresso Book Machine (EBM). The University of Toronto Bookstore has entered into an agreement to get an Espresso Book Machine, and planned to be in store in August before the beginning of the next school year. The EBM will print books from over four million titles in its digital database, self published books from authors, and select textbooks and custom course materials.
With full-color covers, the EBM machine can print, bind and trim complete paperback books in about four minutes per book. The digital database of available titles contains one million in copyright titles, from 8000 publishers, two million public domain Google Books and more than one million public-domain books through the Open Content Alliance. The bookstore has started work towards the digital evolution of books after completing a comprehensive survey both in store and online.
