Follow Quests
Start game, after logging in the facebook. Once you have started the game, you are provided handful of resources (food, wood, iron, stone and gold) which are required for your advancement in the game. You will basically start out with a very simple village that you must try to improve and defend.
Each quest has a matching reward upon completion. Once completed a quest, go back to the quest book and collect your reward. If you forget to collect the reward, the book of quests will flash with a number in the toolbar.
Obtain Allies
Another big factor of this game is getting allies. There are some scenarios that pop up through the game play where announcing it to your circle of friends (allies) will help you amass resources.
Visiting your buddies also help increase resources. When you visit buddies, scenarios also show in the town of your buddy wherein you are asked to help out. Receiving the task will reward you with more resources. This can however only be done once a day, so to get more resources visit more allies.
Use Your Resources to Level Up
You need to get credit points to level up in this game. The main easiest way to get extra point is to simply use your resources. To do something new in this game, you need to use resources which are a mix of wood, iron, stone, food and gold. The most common way of the items is Building structures. Building a cottage, one of the first structures you need to build, will earn you 1 glory point. Raising it to level 3 will earn you 6 glory points and so on.
How to Earn More Resources
As you want to use to raise glory points, you require to earn more of those resources to actually keep on spending. Confirm that the buildings which create those funds are generating enough to sustain your expenses. While all five resources are earned as rewards for quests are done, you need a steady inflow of them.
At the start of the game, do not use your limited resources on building in your town. Visit your field and upgrade your Farm (producing food), Mine (producing iron), Logging Camp (producing wood) and Quarry (producing stone). This will not only increase your production of their own food but the process of raise them will also earn you glory points. And remember, raise actually earns you more points.
Earning gold however is a different process. This resource is earned from the taxes you inflict on the citizens of your kingdom. This means you have more people and you will be able to collect more taxes. So aside from maintaining good producing farms, mines, quarries and logging camps in your field, maintain a number of cottages in your town proper to assure a large enough population that will pay the taxes. And memorize to improve these cottages too to earn those extra glory points.
The faster you can construct and improve these important structures, the earlier you can really forget about your resources getting depleted and start focusing on recruiting and training your army for world domination.
Upgrade your Town Center
Besides your resource buildings, try to improve your town center as soon as possible. The Town center is your city hall and the higher level of this building, the more possibilities open up for you, such as constructing other building types and acquiring other towns.
You can see your whole kingdom and all your property at a single glance from this building. This also allows you to see what buildings you have and which need improvement.
