To complete your booking, you will need:

• Passenger name(s) - matching the name on the identification that the passenger will need to provide at "airport check-in" in order to travel.
• Date of birth – for infants under age 2.
• Frequent Flyer information (e.g. Aeroplan) for each passenger (optional) – this information can be added later to your booking.
• Email address.
• Phone numbers (preferably your mobile phone number).

Click on “Flight” option, enter your trip in “travel” option, departure city in “leaving from” option, arrival city in “going to” option, departure date, return date, number of passengers like adult (over 16 years), youth (12-15 years), child (2-11 years), and infant (under the age of 2 years), country of residence then click on “search” option. Flight status can be checked in two ways such as by entering flight number then clicking on “search” option, and by entering direct root like departure place in “from” option, arrival place in “to” option, and departure date then clicking on “search” option. You can select your seat online if you book your flight on aircanada.com, and you are travelling on a flight operated by Air Canada or Jazz. Seat selection is not available on codeshare flights. If you didn't book your flight at aircanada.com, call Air Canada Reservations or contact the travel agent who handled your booking. For finding flight schedule, enter departure city, arrival city, and departure date then click on “go” option. You can check in at any time within the 24-hour period prior to departure of all your flights, and at least 30 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada, at least 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the USA, at least 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and other countries, if you have a connecting flight, up to 24 hours prior to departure time of your final connecting flight. Always use airport local time of the last flight in your itinerary to determine when you can check in.

You can book your hotel by entering city or country, hotel name, check in date, check out date numbers of room and persons like adult (over 18 years), children (0-17), then click on “search” option. Eligible flights may be changed up to 2 hours prior to departure. If Flight bookings made at aircanada.com, you can make changes to any booking that was originally made at aircanada.com. For flight Pass bookings, you will need to sign to your account to retrieve a booking made using a Flight Pass. Bookings made through Aeroplan may only be changed by contacting Aeroplan directly. However, you may view your flight details at aircanada.com. Flights booked with a travel agent (or on another website) cannot be viewed or changed at aircanada.com. You will need to contact your travel agent directly.

If, you notice that you have made an error (e.g. wrong date, misspelled passenger name) after booking your flight at aircanada.com, you will need to make the necessary corrections by contacting Air Canada Reservations within 24 hours of completing your booking to avoid any complications. If the correction results in a higher fare, you will be given the option to pay the higher fare or to obtain a refund for the price of your ticket. This policy covers changes to flights, dates, routes and spelling of passenger names.
