The travelers can book their flights directly with this electronic e-booking service. This service can be access through Oman Air's website, www.omanair.aero. The Commercial Division in the Company declared, “establishing e-booking, imitate Oman Air's strategies operating comparably with the new trends cultivated by the government in this regard, as well as conceptualizing our services according to the market indications". Travelers are allowed to book seats and pay for electronic tickets by credit cards. The Commercial Division also added pronouncing, "E-ticketing is currently available only to selected cities, including the destinations of most frequent travelers such as, Salalah, Dubai, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kuwait and Cairo. The service will be extended throughout Oman Air's network by the end of 2006".
Online Booking:
When you visit www.omanair.com, you will see “book online” option at the right hand side of the home page. You can also access our booking page by clicking on Plan & Book option. You have to tick on trip either one way or return trip, enter departing place in “from” option, arrival place in “to” option, departing date in “depart on” option, returning date in “return on” option, number of travelers adult (above to 12 years of age), child (between 2 to 11 years), and infants (below 2 years), class of travel, and flight search option then click on “book online” option. You will see the requested flight options. Then you will see the review of your selection, in which you can purchase tickets or cancel them.

The reservation is confirmed, If the seats are available. If the seats are not available, then they put some bookings on waitlist. To get the waitlist booking confirmed, you need to contact Oman Air offices. Reservation system of Oman Air may cancelled a confirmed booking, if you have failed to buy the ticket within the time limit prescribed in accordance with the ticketing rules. You can book a flight up to 330 days in advance. Flights beyond 330 days are not stored in the Sabre computer reservations system used by Oman Air. You make online payment for your ticket through your credit card. Credit cards should be issued by any banks with Visa or Master Card logo. After payment, the system will generate a PNR (Passenger Name Record) against your itinerary, and you will be asked to view/print your ticket.
The reservation system will send a confirmation e-mail. Through this e-mail link, you can log in to our site to revisit the PNR, print the e-ticket receipt and synchronize the booking with your office PC calendar/hand held, check the weather and host of other features. To enter the airport and for check-in, make sure you have your booking receipt, along with a valid photo identification such as Passport, Driving License or Residence Card. Now you can check-in on our web – www.omanair.com or present yourself at the airport check-in counter. Your boarding pass will be issued after verifying this e-ticket, the credit card used for the payment and your valid photo identity card. You can book a maximum of 6 tickets at a time, taking any combination of Adults and Childs together plus a maximum of 6 infants.

- Print the itinerary, etc.
A confirmation will be e-mailed to your e-mail address provided, and you can then access the booking through the e-mail link provided.
Web Check in:
To web check in, enter your last name, first name, departure city, and PNR, then click on “Check In” option. Online check-in is available between 24 and 3 hrs. from the scheduled time of departure. The counters at the airport will be closing 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.
View Itinerary:
For viewing Itinerary, enter PNR, last name, and time format like 12 hours, 24 hours, then click on “view itinerary” option.
Flight Schedule:
If you want to see flight schedule, then you have to tick on trip either one way or return trip, enter departing place in “from” option, arrival place in “to” option, departing date in “depart on” option, returning date in “return on” option, then click on “flight schedule” option.
